Olga comes with 8 years of experience in the national service movement with City Year Los Angeles and has been recognized at the Guillermina Awards as a “Mujer Campeona” in 2014 for her service to the community of Boyle Heights. As a first generation Mexican American graduate of UCLA, Olga has used her experience to build bridges that will give opportunity to youth and empower them to take charge. In her role as Managing Director with Changeist Olga leads the vision for the program, develops the AmeriCorps Members  experience and builds partnerships across Los Angeles to continue growing our youth development & civic engagement model. In her free time she enjoys running long distances – Fun fact: she’s completed 10 marathons!
